I simply could not believe that the Penn State Sports Business Conference was a student-run event in its first year! They thought of every detail and made the experience well worth my time. Hopefully they give me an opportunity to participate in future years!

Penn State alumni and professionals yearn to give back to a school that means so much to them. Students are hungry for real-time and dynamic learning environments that complement their regular coursework. Penn State Sports Business Conference melded those two passions together in year one and have all the momentum to continue that in 2019 and beyond. There are too many inflection points happening across sports business not to bring those topics directly to Penn State students for an engaging discussion and debate.

Being able to be a part of the Penn State Sports Business Conference was the closest thing to getting real-world working experience in the sports industry. It was my proudest moment as a Penn Stater to realize that as a small group of students, we were able to leave behind a legacy for the future. Through hard work, grit and persistence we were able to get the job done and put on an outstanding event.
